Moving
The authorities caught up to me, it's time to move. I overstayed my welcome at this dispersed camping spot. He was super kind and gracious and understanding, so I'm not terribly upset about it. But, looks like I'm gonna be crashing in a Walmart parking lot tonight - and hopefully for at least a couple of days. Wanna conserve the gas in the whip for necessity based travel as much as I can.
That said, I'm stoked to share some photos I took where I've been staying. Once I get Supporter status on the main page there'll be some of that kind of content more often. Gutted, I realized just the other day, that I don't have my phone with the photos I took of that crazy ass abandoned house scenario, there was some pretty wild stuff, ugh!
Hittin' a new food shelf tomorrow, reportedly one where you can "shop for yourself" so you're not leaving with a buncha shit you ain't gonna eat and don't know what to do with. Hoping for some meats or other proteins.
Rain and thunderstorms came back and persisted for quite some time, dangerous travel conditions in some areas. Needless to say, I ain't left this whip for very long in too long.
Grateful to Sam & Jorge for this wi-fi. They managed to make it to the east coast and are camped out near a beach, reportedly. I have dreams of traveling and meeting folks irl I've known for decades online in places I've never been, I'm super jealous.
Realllllly missing my dog over these past couple days, rain and all and being cooped up. She was the best cuddle buddy on the planet.
