I got the job! It was not without some effort - a total of two interviews and a follow-up meeting relating to my availability and mobility... plus a crazy amount of messages, as they want to give me as many hours as possible after I requested a full time position - and they kinda seem to be eyeing me up for supervisory and/or management responsibilities. At any rate, I start next Tuesday. The biggest obstacle will be having to travel three hours for training in store every other week for the next two months. The company pays for lodging, thankfully. And they do pay for mileage and have a daily food stipend, but those bits are paid after submitting receipts. Which I understand. I just don't have cash to pony up for the fuel and food in advance. Brainstorming.
Been coding updates to the original Paintkiller site and converting updates on the new site and here for use on the original site. Super stoked I was able to recover that exactly as I left it. Especially after several previous attempts to do so.
We got rained the fuck out tonight, been cooped up in the truck all damn day, going a bit stir crazy.
